Corned Beef Hash and Recipes

Corned beef hash and recipes variations at the bottom. If you want some good food then try this idea for dinner! Also great for St. Patricks Day!


Corned beef Hash

3 lbs. corned beef

3 potatoes (diced)

2 T. butter

1 green or red pepper (dice finely)

1 onion

1 egg

1 egg yolk

1 t. Worcestershire sauce

4 T. butter

1 c. water

Put beef, water, and seasonings in slow cooker.

Cook: 5 to 6 hours

Take beef out of slow cooker.

Cube the beef. Melt butter in frying pan. Add pepper,

and onion till onions are clear. Put beef, potatoes,

pepper, and onion in bowl. Then add whole egg, egg yolk,

and Worcestershire sauce.

Mix well. Put in frying pan with butter. Turn cooking

till potatoes are soft. When browned take out and serve.





Variations:

Serve with poached eggs

Serve with tomato slices

Serve with homemade bread

Use these before cooking or after whatever your tastes.

Add: Cheese

Add: sour cream or hot sauce

Add: salsa

Add: green onions and sour cream

Add: a heavy cream (used during frying)

Add: 1 cup beets (diced fine) before frying. This is Red Man Hash!
