Crock Pot Jambalaya Recipe

Need a crock pot jambalaya recipe for dinner? Then we have a couple of good ideas for you! If you have a small amount of time you need to go with the easier idea. Maybe you have more time and can’t wait to try the harder one. Either way you will enjoy them both!




Dinner Idea

1 T. oil

1 T. butter

2 onions (chopped)

1/2 green bell pepper (chopped)

1/2 red bell pepper (chopped)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

2 c. ham (cooked and diced)

1 c. rice

1/2 t. thyme

1/2 t. salt

1 can tomatoes (chopped)

1 c. water

Put everything in slow cooker and stir.

Cook: Low 6 to 8 hours.





Easy dinner

1 pkg. dry beans

2 to 3 cups ham

water

1 pkg. Zatarain's mix

Soak beans in water over night.

Put beans in slow cooker and put water almost

to the top of rim.

Cook Low overnight.

1 hour before eating put the zatarains in and stir.

With Chicken

4 lbs. Chicken or Shrimp (cooked and cut up)

½ t. pepper

¼ t. cayenne pepper

1 c. ham (diced)

1 c. celery (chopped)

1 onion (chopped)

2 t. garlic salt

5 c. chicken broth

2 t. thyme

bacon (fried crisp)

3 c. rice

Put everything except the rice in slow cooker.

Cook Low 7 to 9 hours.

Put rice in 1 hour before eating.
