Crock Pot Low Fat Recipes

Here are some crock pot low fat recipes for you to look over.


Sweet and sour pork

2 lbs. pork loin (chunked)

1 onion (chopped)

1 can chicken broth

1 bottle Sweet and Sour Sauce

1 can pineapple (chunks and drained)

1 green pepper (chopped)

2 c. rice

Put pork loin in slow cooker. Then put onion,

chicken broth, and sweet and sour sauce over

pork loin.

Cook: Low 8 to 10 hours, or High 4 to 6 hours.

Put pineapple, green pepper and rice in slow

cooker. Stir well.

Cook: Low 30 minutes to 1 hour.





Vegetable Pasta

2 t. butter

1 zucchini (sliced)

1 squash (sliced)

2 carrots (sliced)

2 c. mushrooms (sliced)

1 pkg. broccoli (diced)

3 green onions (sliced)

1 clove garlic (minced)

1 t. basil

1 t. salt

1 t. pepper

1 c. parmesan cheese (grated)

1 pkg. fettuccini noodles (cooked)

1 c. mozzarella cheese (shredded)

1 c. milk (2%)

2 egg yolks

Grease slow cooker with butter. Put everything

into slow cooker except, fettuccini noodles,

mozzarella cheese, milk, and egg yolks. Stir

well.

Cook: Low 4 to 6 hours or High 3 to 5 hours.

Put fettuccini noodles, mozzarella cheese, milk,

and egg yolks in slow cooker.

Cook: High 30 minutes to 1 hour.





Glazed Chicken Crock Pot Low Fat Recipes

1 c. orange juice

1 pkg. chicken breasts

1 t. marjoram

1 t. nutmeg

1 t. garlic powder

Put chicken breasts in bottom of slow cooker. Put

marjoram, nutmeg, garlic powder on chicken. Pour

orange juice over the top.

Cook: Low 8 to 10 hours, or High 5 to 7 hours

3 lbs. chicken breasts

2 bay leaves

1 t. allspice

1 t. thyme

5 figs (diced)

1 green pepper (chopped)

1 can tomato sauce

1 onion (chopped)

2 T. almonds (chopped)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 c. apple juice

Put chicken in bottom of slow cooker. Put

everything else over the top of chicken.

Cook: Low 8 to 10 hours.




Soup

1 lb. chicken breasts (cubed)

2 t. oil

1 can chicken broth

2 c. water

1 pkg. mixed vegetables (frozen)

1 pkg. italian dressing mix

1 c. rice

2 T. parsley

Put everything in slow cooker and stir well.

Cook: Low 5 to 7 hours, or High 3 to 5 hours
