Crock Pot Stew Recipes

A selection of Crock Pot Stew Recipes. Old Fashioned is one my grandmother made every Monday after roast on Sundays. Then she would have tapioca for dessert!




Old Fashioned

2 lbs. stew beef (cubed)

1 can tomatoes

1/2 c. tapioca (quick cook)

3 carrots (sliced)

Cloves

1 onion,

3 stalks celery (sliced)

½ t. Salt

½ t. pepper

Put everything in crock pot. Stir.

Cook: Low 10 to 12 hours or High 5 to 6 hours





Left Over Stew

2 pounds beef roast (chunked)

3 T. butter

2 T. garlic powder

1 onion (chopped)

1 Pepper (chopped)

1 t. oregano

1/2 t. cumin

2 c. tomatoes (chopped)

1/4 c. lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 cup wine vinegar

1/2 cup beef boullion

Fry beef in butter. Then put garlic and onion in the pan.

Put beef mixture and everything else in crockpot.

Cook: 10 to 12 hours





Easy Crock pot Stew Recipe

1 T. flour

3/4 t. salt

2 lbs. stew meat

1 can tomato soup

1 soup can water

1 onion (chopped)

1/4 t. basil

4 potatoes (cubed)

3 carrots (sliced)

1/4 c. wine vinegar

Mix soup, water, basil, salt, pepper and onion.

Add meat, potatoes and carrots.

Put in crockpot.

Cook: 6 to 8 hours
