Other things to consider: 1) consider what you will be cooking, roasts go best in5 quart size or bigger crock pots. 2) do you like to have leftovers or to freeze and serve some of what you cook later? 3) Removeable stoneware is the easiest to clean. Good Points: A crock pot uses about as much electricity as a lightbulb making it an energy conserver's product.
