Crockpot Lemon Chicken Recipe

A crockpot lemon chicken recipe with sallions, turnips, and parsnips.

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts (cut in half)

2 c. chicken broth

1/4 c. scallions (chopped)

4 T. lemon juice

4 T. dill (dried)

1 t. garlic (minced)

4 turnips (peeled, and cut up into pieces)

3 parsnips (peeled and cut up into pieces)

4 T. cornstarch

1/4 c. water (cold)

Put the chicken breasts in first.

Put the broth, scallions, lemon juice, dill and garlic in the slow cooker.

Mix well.

Then put in the turnips, and parsnips.

Mix again.

Cook on Low 3 to 5 hours. Or 2 to 4 hours.

Then turn the crock pot to high setting.

Stir together the cornstarch and water in a seperate bowl.

Add cornstarch mixture to slow cooker.

Combine all ingredients by stirring.

Cook 15 more minutes to thicken things up/
