Diabetic Drink Recipes
We have some diabetic drink recipes that are for use in the crock pot and some are not. Drinks are an important part of the diabetes diet. Feeling like everyone else gets something and you don't is not good. My aunt was telling me about how she takes a diet soda and adds splenda to it to get it just right. It keeps her with in her diet.By accident she told me she found a way to make an interesting type of soda. She was having a root beer float. Sugar vanilla ice cream, and diet A&W root beer. She noticed when she drank the last of the root beer with some ice cream it was a lot better than just the diet pop alone. So she experimented till she came up with this recipe.
Just Vanilla 1 1/2 c. club soda (cold) 1 1/2 c. Blue Bunny Ice cream sugar free. Put these two items in a blender. Run it for 20 seconds so it gets smooth. Servings 3 (1 cup each) 80 cal 0 fat 16 carb 4 protein
