Fall Vegetables
vegetarian cooking
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. nutmeg
2 acorn squash (halved and seeded)
3/4 c. raisins
4 T. butter
1/2 c. water
Mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and the nutmeg. Add the mixture to squash halves. Put 1 T. butter on top of each squash half. Put foil around each squash half. Put water into crock pot. Add squash.
Cook: High 3 to 5 hours
