Gourmet Crock Pot Recipes

A selection of gourmet crock pot recipes.

Pork Chops

4 pork chops

1/2 t. salt

1/2 t. pepper

2 onions (chopped)

2 celery ribs (chopped)

1 green pepper (sliced)

1 can stewed tomatoes

1/2 c. catsup

2 T. cider vinegar

2 T. brown sugar

2 T. Worcestershire sauce

1 T. lemon juice

2 T. cornstarch

1 beef bouillon cube

2 T. water

Put pork chops in slow cooker. Put salt and pepper

over the top. Put onions, celery, green pepper, and

toamtoes in. Mix catsup, vinegar, sugar, worcestershire

sauce, lemon juice, and bouillon. Pour in slow cooker.

Cook: Low 5 to 6 hours

Mix together cornstarch and water. Stir in to pork chops.

Cook: High 30 minutes

Serve over rice

Chicken

6 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)

6 slice ham

6 slices swiss cheese

1/4 c. flour

1/4 c. parmesan cheese (grated)

1/2 t. sage

1/4 t. paprika

1/4 t. pepper

1 can chicken soup

1/2 c. chicken broth

Take your tenderizer mallot or rolling pin and make the

breast flat for rolling. On each piece of chicken put

ham and swiss cheese. Put toothpicks in each roll. Mix

the flour, parmesan cheese, sage, paprika and pepper

together. Coat chicken rolls with the flour mixture.

Put chicken and oil in frying pan and brown. Then put

chicken into slow cooker. Mix soup and chicken broth

together. Pour over chicken.

Cook: Low 4 to 5 hours.

Serve over rice.





Apple Streusel

6 c. apples (peeled and sliced)

2 t. cinnamon

1/2 t. allspice

1/2 t. nutmeg

3/4 c. milk

2 T. butter (softened)

3/4 c. sugar

2 eggs

1 t. vanilla

1/3 c. biscuit baking mix

Topping -

1 c. biscuit baking mix

1/3 c. brown sugar

3 T. butter

1/2 c. almonds (sliced)

Grease slow cooker. Mix apples, cinnamon, allspice, and

nutmeg. Put in cooker. Mix milk, butter, sugar, eggs,

vanilla, and baking mix together. Put over apples.

Topping - Mix biscuit mix and brown sugar together, then

add butter. Then add almonds. Put in cooker.

Cook: 6 to 7 hours

Server over ice cream

1 Chicken Whole

1 bottle red wine

Rosemary

Garlic

Bacon 2 strips

Put everything in slow cooker.

Cook: Low 9 to 11 hours.
