Healthy Slow Cooker Recipe

A healthy slow cooker recipe or two.




Chicken

6 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)

1 jar spaghetti sauce

2 green bell pepper (cubed)

1 c. Mushrooms (sliced)

1 onion (diced)

2 T. garlic powder

Put chicken in slow cooker. Put everything else in

slow cooker.

Cook: Low 8 to 10 hours.





Pork and Sweet Potatoes

6 pork loin (boneless)

2 sweet potatoes (strips)

2 apples (diced)

1/2 cup splenda (substitute sweetener)

4 t. Apple Pie Spice

1/2 c. water

Put sweet potatoes and apples in bottom of slow cooker.

Put water, apples spice and splenda over all. Put

pork loins on top.

Cook: Low 7 to 9 hours





Blueberry Pudding

12 slices light bread (cubed)

2 c. blueberries

2 c. light milk

3/4 c. egg substitute

1/3 c. splenda (substitute sweetener)

2 t. vanilla

1 t. cinnamon

1/4 t. salt

Grease slow cooker. Put bread and blueberries in slow

cooker and stir. Put everything else in and stir.

Cook: High 4 hours.

Remove lid for last 1/2 hour

When edges are brown eat.




Spaghetti

1 lb. ground beef (lean)

2 T. onion

1 t. salt

1 t. garlic powder

2 cans tomato sauce

2 t. italian seasoning

1 can mushrooms (sliced and drained)

3 c. tomato juice

1 pkg. spaghetti

Brown ground beef and put in slow cooker. Put everything

else in slow cooker except spaghetti noodles. Stir well.

Cook: Low 7 to 9 hours.

Put spaghetti noodles in slow cooker.

Cook: High 1 hour
