Oyster Crab Cakes Mix together these ingredients for the sauce. 3/4 c. mayonnaise 2 T. red onion (minced) 1 T. parsley (chopped) 1 T. capers (chopped) 1 T. lemon juice (squeezes a from lemon) 1/2 t. fresh black pepper (ground)
The Patties: Next pour the butter in the slow cooker. Then mix everything else together except dried bread crumbs and oysters. Put meat mixute in small bowl then put a oyster on it and then pat it into dried bread crumbs. Put in slow cooker. Continue till all is through.
1 T. butter (melted) 1/2 c. shallots (minced) 2 eggs (lightly beaten) 2 T. fresh parsley (chopped) 1 T. jalapeno chile (minced) 1/2 t. salt 1/2 t. fresh black pepper (ground) 1/4 t. red pepper sauce 12 oz. crabmeat (flaked) 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs (fresh) 3 dozen oysters (drained & shucked) 1 c. dry bread crumbs (plain) Cook: High 1 to 3 hours. Remove and serve with sauce.
