Spinach Appetizer

spinach appetizer, spinach dip

Spinach Dip

1 pkg. white sauce mix

2 to 4 c. water Note: below

1 can broth (we use vegetable)

2 c. mushrooms (sliced)

1/2 c. onions (diced)

3 garlic cloves (minced)

1/2 t. basil

1/4 t. salt

1/2 t. oregano

1 pinch of red pepper spice

1 can evaporated milk

6 to 7 c. spinach leaves (torn in half)

Parmesan Cheese (grated)


Put Sauce mix and water in crock pot and stir well. Add Everything else except spinach, milk and cheese.

Note: Water is what makes this a thicker or a thinner dip. Which ever you prefer.

Cook: Low 5 to 7 hours.

Add spinach, and milk. Stir.

Cook: Low 1 hour.

Use Cheese as a garnish on top and for taste.
